Sally Clarkson is a Christian woman, wife, mother, homemaker, author, blogger, and speaker. She and Clay married in 1981 and have served together in overseas, church, and parachurch ministries for most of their marriage. Sally is a seasoned mother of four grown children, all educated entirely at home, and each faithfully following the Lord. In addition to a national speaking ministry with Whole Heart Ministries, Sally is the author of several popular books for mothers, including Seasons of a Mother’s Heart, Your Mom Walk with God, The Mission of Motherhood, The Ministry of Motherhood, Desperate (with Sarah Mae), You Are Loved (with Angela Perritt), 10 Gifts of Wisdom, Own Your Life, and The Lifegiving Home (with Sarah Clarkson, 2016). Her newest book (January 2017), co-written with her 27 year-old son Nathan, is Different–The Story of an Outside-the-Box Kid and the Mom Who Loved Him.
Discipleship has been the heartbeat of Sally’s life for over forty years of ministry–to college students; in Eastern European mission; to executive women; with Clay in churches in Austria and the US; in starting Whole Heart Ministries; in conferences for mothers since 1998, in training Intensives in her home; in her blogs and podcasts; in writing her books; and so much more. Whether she is teaching and mentoring other women, or training and instructing her own children, Sally’s heart is to help others follow God wholeheartedly. God has used Sally to bring encouragement and inspiration to thousands of Christian mothers and women who desire to follow God’s biblical design for their lives and homes. All of her messages are filled with biblical instruction, touching personal anecdotes, and spiritual insights born out of her own experience in life and ministry. She loves Austrian coffee and strong English tea, evening walks, traveling, thoughtful books, beautiful music, quiet tea times, and being with her children. Sally and Clay live in Monument, Colorado in the shadow of Pikes Peak and foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

Mom Heart Ministry is a motherhood initiative of Whole Heart Ministries. Our heart is to restore moms’ hearts to God’s heart for motherhood. We want to train moms to start, lead, and tend Mom Heart small groups where mothers can study the Word, be encouraged in their life as a mom, and be equipped to be a lifegiving influences in the lives of other moms. Clay and Sally Clarkson started Whole Heart Ministries in 1994.
